Perfectly Seasoned Steak and Veggies
No fancy marinades or ingredients required for this perfect steak! Seasoned with the basics it’s cooked to perfection in a hot cast iron skillet!
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Season steak(s) with salt and pepper on both sides. Rub each with olive oil.
Heat a cast iron skillet on top of the stove and add butter. Once skillet is hot sear steak(s) 2-3 minutes on each side. (turn steak over with tongs, do not stab)
Remove from heat and add mushrooms, garlic and beans- place in preheated oven.
Roast in oven 15-20 minutes or until cooked through.
Remove from oven, cover and let steak(s) rest 2-3 minutes before serving.
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup green beans
- black pepper and sea salt to taste
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp grass fed butter, unsalted
- 1-2 MGR New York Strip Steaks, at room temperature
